This Privacy Policy explains how FURCHA OÜ (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit furcha.eu, contact us or buy our products. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Estonian law.

2. What data we collect and why

• Contact enquiries. When you use our contact form or e-mail us, we process your name, e-mail address, company, phone number (if provided) and your message to answer your request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and taking steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
• Orders and customer accounts. When you place an order or create an account, we process your name, company, billing and shipping address, e-mail, phone number, order details and payment status to fulfil the contract, deliver products and provide support (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep invoices and accounting records as required by law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Payments. Payments are processed by payment service providers (e.g. PayPal). We do not store your full card details. The payment provider processes your data under its own privacy policy.
• Newsletter and marketing e-mails. If you subscribe, we use your e-mail address to send you product news. We use Klaviyo for this. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.
• Website operation and security. Our server automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type and time of access to operate and secure the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Statistics and marketing cookies. Only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) we use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit), Jetpack / WooCommerce Analytics (Automattic), Google Fonts and Pinterest to understand how our website is used and to improve it. See our Cookie Policy for details. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Manage consent” button on the website.

3. Recipients of your data

We share personal data only where necessary with: our hosting provider, payment providers, shipping and courier companies, our accounting service provider, and the service providers listed above (Google, Automattic, Klaviyo, Pinterest). They process data on our behalf or as independent controllers. Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area (e.g. to the USA). In such cases transfers are based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. How long we keep your data

• Contact enquiries: as long as needed to handle your request, and up to 3 years afterwards.
• Order and accounting records: 7 years, as required by the Estonian Accounting Act.
• Customer accounts: until you delete your account or ask us to delete it.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Estonia this is the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), www.aki.ee.
